We went for a sensory guided walk in the woods, making smelly pots; doing leaf and bark rubbings; and meeting trees.
The rest of the day will be in another post, featuring a four day old ring-tailed lemur - if you want to be sure you don't miss it, type your email address in the box near the top of the right side bar, and the post will magically arrive in your inbox when it's published.

What a great idea - I didn't know they did such guided walks. It looks so beautiful, green and lush and with the sun shining it must have been a great experience. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting #CountryKids! It was a great day - everyone had fun, and that isn't necessarily a given with three children! It's always exciting to find somewhere local that you know you'll be going back to, and the wooded area we walked through was very beautiful.
DeleteThank you for popping by!

Whoa! Thats so interesting! And Bristol is our current fave place to go to lately! Thanks for sharing we might visit this place =) #countrykids
ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend it - so long as the weather is on your side! (Although there's a play barn too) I had forgotten how much fun bark rubbing was - the kids loved it - easy and cheap and educational - can't lose!
ReplyDeleteTake care, and thank you for reading and commenting!
