a day at the (garden) zoo {a family photo story}

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Triggered by our visit to Dartmoor Zoological Park (also known as the We Bought A Zoo zoo ), Petal and Smiler decided to open a zoo in our garden.
Of course.

  1. How great is this? Looks like they had a very busy day looking after all those animals :)

  2. They certainly did! Thank you for taking a look, Debra, and of course for saying hi! I love it when they come up with their own ideas and then just run with them - Petal made a leaflet for the zoo which included a map; she made tickets for everyone; she made staff ID cards for she and her brother to wear round their necks!
    Take care Debra, and I hope you'll come back soon.

    1. They certainly have their moments! I love it when they get really stuck in, you know? We're really lucky too that we have a big enough garden for them to set things like this up in. IPetal is also lobbying for a pet of her own for her birthday in a couple of days, so everything is very animal focused!
      Thanks for commenting hun, and take care

  5. Thank you Fiona - I love the games and things they come up with! I've put the map and tickets and their ID cards in the boxes we keep favourite drawings and things in (once the zoo had closed, obviously!) so they can look back on it when they're bigger! It's great that we had the weather for it too - fingers crossed for more sunshine!
    Thank you Fiona, and take care
