The Photo Gallery 188 :: Detail

This is a jellyfish at Plymouth National Marine Aquarium - my daughter and I were transfixed by the fringe of tiny filaments highlighted by the movements of the water that surrounded them.

    1. Thank you - they had black lights above the tank which made the semi-translucent jellyfish look great!
Take care, and I hope you'll stop by again!

  2. I absolutely love watching jellyfish - in a tank not in the sea - that scares me

    1. I know what you mean Louise - they're kind of hypnotic! Very relaxing to watch, as they gently drift around! (And I'm with you on the sea thing too - I prefer glass between me and them!)
Take care, and I hope you'll stop by again soon!

    1. What a fab compliment Susan, thank you! A lucky shot I think but still happy to take the praise! Love your avatar by the way - that bundle of yours looks full of milk and very happy about it!
Thanks again, and I hope to see you here again soon!

    1. Thank you Tracey, I know most people shared photos of their children, but I was genuinely proud of this photo, and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to link it up!
Thanks for taking a look, and especially for commenting (and complimenting too)!
